Be Active: Birding
Birding Resources:  Forum  |  Blog  |  Calendar

Mountain Home's mild temperate climate and botanical diversity - both deciduous and evergreen trees - allow bird watching year-round. Within the David's Trail System, there will be excellent viewing positions and ample birdlife to keep you visiting often. Become familiar with the local species as well as migratory visitors who make a stop here each year.

Volunteers are at the heart of this trail-building project and this website as well. Friends of David manage the activity pages and share their outdoor expertise. Each will host a forum, inviting your additions, and will post tips. Each of the 15 activity content managers will also produce an ongoing blog dedicated to their activity topic.

Page content will change frequently - with the season, events, or news of the activity - so please revisit the pages often. Don't forget to check the David's Trail Calendar for outdoor events.
